The GreenWay short film captures the evolution of the GreenWay corridor from a grassroots community vision for ‘a recognisable environmental, cultural and non – polluting transport corridor linking the subcatchments of two of Sydney’s most important waterways” to a reality.

Following extensive lobbying by local Councils and community groups over the past 10 years, the NSW Government has announced it will include the GreenWay Trail, a shared pathway for cyclists and pedestrians, as part of the Inner West Light Rail Extension, giving Sydney its first environmentally sustainable, integrated transport corridor, which will run from the Cooks River to Iron Cove.
