Huge demand for native plant ID workshop

The next GreenWay Bushcare course on Saturday 6 August, Native Plant Identification, has been met with great demand, with 50 booking requests taken from local volunteers and community groups including the Mudcrabs and the Inner West Environment Group (although only 15 places were available).
Due to the demand for this course GreenWay Landcare Supervisor Sue Stevens is working to schedule another
session later in 2011 and will be in contact with volunteers on the waiting list.
During 2011, GreenWay Bushcare, a program of the GreenWay Sustainability Project, has run a series of free training programs for bushcare volunteers, ranging from Weeds of the GreenWay and Bushcare Essentials to Implementing Revegtation Works, with many modules delivered by TAFE NSW.
