EDGE GreenWay - where art meets nature
Join in an immersive arts experience at EDGE, Inner West’s new arts and cultural program that shines a spotlight on our local artists. EDGE GreenWay on the waterfront is perfect to enjoy with family and friends.
On arrival you’ll join a plane crash party at our bridge bar showcasing free botanical mocktails and grooves from cockpit DJs.
Next up spend some time exploring outdoor sculpture and art installations, or meander around and enjoy live artist performances and music with the spectacular bay as your backdrop.
Stop in and hear words of wisdom from Aboriginal elders and environmentalists, and learn something new from foraging weed wizards.
There will be exciting activities to keep small hands busy. Kids can make a lantern or create an upcycled headpiece to wear in the sunset parade. They’ll enjoy amusement from performers, puppets, and a bike-powered dancefloor, all in our upcycled playground!
Bring a picnic blanket, visit a food truck, and settle in for a spectacular twilight finale performance by world renowned theatre company Legs On The Wall while the Boat of Dreams sets sail taking participants wishes into the sunset as the city switches off for Earth Hour.
