State Government shelves cycle routes

The release of the Sydney's Cycling Future document has revealled the Government's current position on cycling. Many high profile projects including the GreenWay have been psotponed to the medium and long term. This is very disappointing, particular considering the developement occuring adjacent to the light rail- Greenway corridor. We look forward to working with the state government to expedite these essential infrastructure projects.
The GreenWay has strong support from the 4 local councils as well as the local community and we will be launching a "Missing Links" project in the New Year to seek funding to build critical sections of the GreenWay.
