Wanted: Leichhardt community representative for the GreenWay Steering Committee

Are you interested in becoming more involved with the GreenWay and live in the Leichhardt LGA? We have a vacancy for a Leichhardt community representative to join the GreenWay Steering Committee. 

The GreenWay Steering Committee meets 5 times a year and its role is to guide the decision making for the GreenWay. This includes the shared path, light rail interaction, arts, bushcare- in fact all the activities in the GreenWay catchment. The Committee consists of representatives from all the GreenWay stakeholders including councillors and staff from all four GreenWay councils, Friends of the GreenWay, the Inner West Environment Group, bicycle groups as well as 4 community representatives. Previous experience on committees is not neccesary but an interest in GreenWay or aspects of the GreenWay is useful.
